• High Value Household - our 606 policy, which suits people with contents sum insured of over €150,000, cover possessions anywhere in the world, with accidental loss and damage included as standard (as against most standard policies, which only cover possessions in the home, and against named perils - storm, theft, etc); can include high value items of fine art, antiques and jewellery, and offers wider cover than the norm in all areas.

Hiscox purchased Dublin-based Construction & General Guarantee Insurance Company in 2001. Construction Guarantee is a specialist bond underwriter providing performance bonds for small-to-medium sized building contractors and sub-contractors.
